Summary: At the end of the 19th century, several explorers began to study the desert-like areas of the Arabian Peninsula, searching for an ancient past. Following their journey and major explorations, this film is an introduction to one of the world’s most refined cultures that gave birth to Islam.

– Broadcast: Within the framework of the «Routes d’Arabie» (“Routes of Arabia”) exhibit at the Louvre Museum in Paris from July 14 to September 27, 2010.

 

The film was then broadcast in the major museums of this traveling exhibit (including the “Pergamon Museum” in Berlin).
